The ESD wrist strap tester is a complete personnel grounding test system designed to verify strap performance while it is still on the operator’s wrist. It ensures a continuous path between the operator, wrist strap, and ground cord is maintained, providing reliable protection in ESD-sensitive environments.
With a 9V DC test voltage, the unit performs checks safely without causing harm to the operator. Factory-set test parameters range from 900KΩ to 35MΩ but can be adjusted to meet specific requirements. The tester is powered by a 9V battery and includes two 10mm studs for secure and reliable connections during testing.
