Accurate and reliable humidity monitoring for sealed packaging

These humidity indicator cards (HICs) provide a straightforward, reliable way to monitor moisture levels in vacuum-sealed or moisture-barrier packaging. Manufactured from high-grade blotting paper, each card (which measure approx. 40mm x 120mm) contains humidity-sensitive spots that change colour from blue to pink as humidity increases, providing an immediate visual reference of internal conditions.

They measure humidity levels at 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60% RH and comply with MIL-I-8835 standards for precision and repeatability. Each tin is packed airtight to preserve card sensitivity and contains 200 cards, making them ideal for volume use in packaging operations.

% RH (Relative Humidity): indicates the amount of moisture in the air relative to the maximum it can hold at a given temperature. For instance, 50% RH means the air contains half of the total moisture it is capable of holding before reaching saturation.

Commonly paired with silica gel desiccants and moisture barrier bags, they are widely used in electronics manufacturing, defence, and aerospace applications to prevent costly humidity-related damage.
