SMT Manual Splice Tool
Durable handheld tool for precise SMT tape splicing
The SMT manual splice tool is designed for use in surface mount technology (SMT) production lines to join carrier tapes that hold surface-mount components, enabling continuous feeding into pick-and-place machines without interruption.
Constructed from stainless steel for long-lasting durability, the tool features locking clamps to hold carrier tape securely in place and 5mm guide pins for precise reel alignment. An ergonomic rubber handle ensures comfort during extended use.
Compatible with all carrier tape sizes, it can be used with either a brass shim clip or splice tape and shim combi to create fast, accurate, and repeatable joins.
Application: joining carrier tape on component reels. Supplied individually.
