Silica Gel Desiccant Packets

Effective moisture control for packaging and long-term storage

These silica gel desiccant sachets provide a reliable and efficient method of controlling humidity within sealed packaging and enclosed spaces – great for using with moisture barrier bags and HICS, during the storage, packaging, and shipping of electronic parts.

Manufactured from silicon dioxide (SiOâ‚‚), these high-quality desiccants absorb and retain moisture through physical adsorption, preventing corrosion, condensation, and mould formation without releasing any by-products. Typically formed as transparent, spheroidal beads, silica gel offers a large internal surface area for high absorption.

Silica gel can be reactivated without affecting its moisture absorption capacity. It is therefore very economical.

  • 5g (25mm x 80mm), and 25g (55mm x 120mm) come in packs of 250
  • 10g (55mm x 80mm), 50g (70mm x 105mm) and 100g (90mm x 127mm) come in packs of 100.

Ideal for use with moisture barrier bags, JEDEC trays, and other moisture-sensitive packaging, these packets help extend product life and maintain integrity during storage or shipment.
