Alcohol Solution – INSPEC™ DE

70% denatured ethanol solution for cleanroom disinfection

Available in sterile and non-sterile formats, INSPEC™ DE Alcohol Solution is a rapid-action disinfectant with low residue, designed for effective cleaning and sanitisation in controlled environments. With proven bactericidal and fungicidal properties, it helps maintain hygiene standards while minimising microbial contamination. All formats are manufactured with Water for Injection (WFI) quality water and supplied in multiple protective bags for safe transfer into cleanrooms.

INSPEC™ DE Alcohol Solution is a blend of 70% denatured ethanol and 30% WFI-quality water. Sterile versions are double bagged, gamma irradiated, and supplied with Certificates of Analysis, Sterility, Irradiation, and Endotoxin. The trigger spray bottle incorporates a “suck-back” prevention system to safeguard against contamination and extend in-use shelf life.

Produced in an ISO 6 cleanroom and filled under an ISO 5 localised air shower, each batch is GMP manufactured, ISO 9001 certified, and tested for sterility, endotoxin, and irradiation dose.

Use Instructions

INSPEC™ DE Alcohol Solution is suitable for spraying, wiping, and mopping applications. Hold the spray 15–20cm from the surface to be treated and ensure complete coverage. Wipes can be accessed via peel-back openings and resealed as needed. Sachets are single-use tear open.

Storage & Safe Handling

Store upright in original closed containers, away from sunlight and extremes of temperature. Full guidance on handling and disposal is available in the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).

Material Compatibility

When used as directed, INSPEC™ DE will not affect materials commonly encountered in cleanrooms. For detailed information, refer to the Technical Dossier.
