Durable antistatic heel strap for reliable ESD protection

The ESD heel grounder provides a convenient and effective method of grounding personnel in ESD-protected areas. Designed with a simple clip fastener, it offers quick application and removal, making it a practical alternative to traditional hook-and-loop straps. Each heel strap incorporates a 1 megohm safety resistor to protect the operator while ensuring continuous ESD protection.

Made from hard-wearing materials, the heel straps are washable in mild detergent for long-term use and hygiene. They feature an outer conductive surface with a resistivity of 10³–10⁵ ohms, an inner antistatic surface of 10⁷–10⁸ ohms, and a conductive tab of 10³–10⁴ ohms, giving an overall resistivity of 10⁶ ohms. These straps conform to ANSI/ESD S20.20 and EIA 625 standards.

For best performance, heel grounders should be worn on both feet and regularly tested using an ESD test station to maintain compliance with safety standards.
