Adjustable antistatic heel strap for long-term protection

The ESD heel grounder with hook-and-loop fastener provides quick adjustment and a secure fit, making it easy to use with all types of ESD flooring or matting. Each grounder incorporates a 1 megohm safety resistor to ensure operator protection while maintaining reliable ESD grounding.

Designed for long-term use, these heel straps are hand-washable in mild detergent, helping to extend their service life and maintain hygiene. For adequate protection, it is recommended that heel grounders be worn on both feet.

The strap construction features an outer conductive surface with a resistivity of 10³–10⁵ ohms, an inner antistatic surface with a resistivity of 10⁷–10⁸ ohms, and a conductive tab with a resistivity of 10³–10⁴ ohms, resulting in an overall resistivity of 10⁶ ohms. These grounders comply with ANSI/ESD SP9.1-2022 and are suitable for use within an ANSI/ESD S20.20 programme. They also meet EN 61340-4-3 standards.

To ensure ongoing compliance and safety, heel grounders should be regularly tested using an ESD test station kit.
