Portable ESD kit for service engineers
This ESD Field Kit provides a compact and portable EPA for use when working away from a permanent workstation. Supplied in a highly visible red pouch, it contains everything needed to create a compliant static-protected area in line with EN 61340-5-1 standards.
The kit includes:
– 1 x red storage pouch
– 1 x ESD mat (590mm x 590mm)
– 1 x 10mm wrist band
– 1 x coiled earth lead (10mm to banana)
– 1 x straight earth lead (banana to banana with crocodile clip)
Made from 2-layer embossed vinyl, the mat has a surface resistivity of 1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁸ ohms and operates in a temperature range of -5°C to 40°C. The mat thickness is 0.6mm, and the total kit weight is 350g, making it lightweight, durable, and easy to transport.
