Black or Clear Polystyrene Carrier Tape Extenders with Antistatic Cover Tape
Easily extend SMT reels while reducing waste and protecting components
This flat carrier tape (with punched holes along the edge) protects electronic components from ESD and damage during shipment. Designed for use with either automatic and manual SMT pick and place feeders, it can be spliced to existing reels to extend length and minimise waste.
Available in black or clear polystyrene, these 450mm (17.7in) strips come in a variety of widths and supplied in packs of 250 or 500 (see below).

- 16mm, 24mm, 32mm, 44mm and 56mm widths (packs of 250 strips)
Application: used at the front end of polystyrene carrier tape to feed into the machine and reduce component wastage, or between tapes to join reels.
Compatible with both the semi-automatic splice tool and SMT manual splice tool.
